Discernment, God’s will & living jesus
Join us for a 10-session course to explore the topic of discernment, led by author Larry Warner.
This course is designed to help spiritual directors to not merely learn about discernment but to become a discerning person beginning to view and experience discernment as a way of life. The material presented, along with the exercises, will help the director to develop the identity (whose you are and who you are) and cultivate the ongoing awareness needed to live a life of discernment and thus be able to receive and respond to the leading and promoting of the Spirit as they live their daily lives. This course is about a personal spiritual formation that will help spiritual directors journey with God and with others in an open, trusting and free flowing way—to live Jesus.
This course will meet virtually and will include teaching from Larry and small group break out sessions to go deeper with the material presented in Larry’s book, Discernment, God’s Will & Living Jesus. Purchase of this book is required for the course.
A syllabus will be sent out to all participants prior to the first class that will contain the reading and other assignments for the course. A certificate will be presented upon completion of this course.
